Investors in People
ERT (Scotland) Ltd understands that the most important resource in a company is the people behind it. Over the years we have invested heavily in the development of each employee to ensure that we have the skills, experience and understanding required to meet our clients' needs. To clearly state our ongoing commitment to our staff, ERT was assessed against the framework of the Investors in People award in March 2003 and has successfully undergone surveillance visits since this date.
BS EN ISO 9001:2008 - Quality management systems
In achieving our client's needs, ERT (Scotland) Ltd saw a clear need for a formal company-wide quality management system. Following a period of improvement and documentation of all our key business processes, we were assessed and received accreditation to the above international standard in January 2002 and have successfully undergone surveillance visits since this date. In April 2009 we underwent a successful surveillance visit and were upgraded to the new standard ISO 9001:2008.
ISO/IEC 17025:2005 - General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories
As our laboratory operations are the foundation of our business, further development of our quality management system specific to key chemical analytical test methods was required. To achieve this, detailed development, improvement and documentation of all laboratory practices resulted in an assessment and accreditation to the above international standard in January 2008.
BS EN ISO 14001:2004 - Environmental management systems
In our daily operation, we continually strive to provide our clients with detailed reporting on environmental conditions regarding their own operations. This led ERT (Scotland) Ltd to look at our own operations and our potential impact on the environment and therefore we decided to develop a clear strategy to limit our environmental footprint. To achieve this ERT underwent the development of processes and practices to the requirements of the above standard. Following assessment we were accredited to the above international standard in November 2007 and have successfully undergone surveillance visits since this date..
